The Most Chaotic Hour in Morrowind (No Mods, No Mercy)

This stream was a direct continuation of my ongoing vanilla playthrough of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, picking up right outside the smugglers hideout near Seyda Neen. No fresh start, no hand-holding — just straight into the action.

I tried going in with a dagger. Big mistake.

Morrowind combat is... let’s say “unique.” After realizing I wasn’t doing much damage, I made a tactical retreat to Arille and upgraded to a two-handed axe along with an iron cuirass. That upgrade made a huge difference.

Inside the hideout, things escalated fast. A magic user took me down once, but after a quick reload, I came back prepared and cleared the entire place. Redemption arc complete.

There were slaves inside, and I managed to free them… after accidentally killing one and having to reload. Very on-brand for a Morrowind playthrough.

The loot was actually great. Tons of gear, plus contraband like skooma and moonsugar. Unfortunately, Arille isn’t a fan of illegal substances, so I had to stash those before I could sell anything. Classic small-town problems.

And then came one of the most iconic Morrowind moments.

Just outside Seyda Neen, a man literally fell from the sky and died on impact. No warning. No explanation. Just gravity. Long-time fans know exactly who that was, but it’s still hilarious every time it happens.

After that chaos, I slowed things down — explored the area, collected plants, went back to town to sleep, sold off gear, and eventually bought a full set of iron armor. Slow but steady progression.

No mods. No visual upgrades. Just pure, unpredictable Morrowind energy.

And honestly? That’s what makes it so good.

If this stream proved anything, it’s that vanilla Morrowind doesn’t need mods to create absolute chaos.
