10 Advertise Here Banners (468×60)

A few months back I created some 125×125 “Place Your Ad Here” and “Advertise Here” banners which can be used by anyone on their own websites or blogs. Today, I created 10 more “Advertise Here” banners but this time the size is not 125×125 but 468×60. 468×60 is the web’s standard size for ad banners. Although, it’s not as popular as it use to be but still many websites and blogs use it and many are still offering ad spaces or ad spots with this size as an option.

To use the banners, just save a copy in your computer and upload it to your web/blog host. You can also directly link to them if you wish since the banners are hosted at Imageshack!

Headers for Wordpress

A couple of weeks ago I received a request from a client to create 50 static headers for Worpdress. He offered to pay $5 USD per header for a total of $250 USD which I gladly accepted. The headers were 935 pixels by 150 pixels in length and width but I also created 800 pixels by 100 pixels version for each one. I based the design of each banner from a list of 50 domain names which the client sent. Obviously, the banners will be used on the domains listed.

I usually ask for a 50% downpayment before working on a job but for this one payment was sent after. Getting paid after doing the work is risky since the client can suddenly disappear or, for some reason, choose not to pay and cancel the job. It has happened to me a lot of times in the past too. Anyway, I fully trust this client that is why I agreed to get paid after. (more…)

Generic Cards For Entrecard Members

Last time we had 125×125 banners for your Project Wonderful accounts. This time we have Generic Cards for Entrecard Members. Entrecard is steadily growing and I noticed that the number of members using the default cards or system cards are also growing in numbers. So, to help them out I’m going to make different sets of Generic Cards for Entrecard Members. These cards are going to be like template cards. All they’ll have to do is add their own text on them which they can easily do with any image/graphics editing program like Paint. (more…)

Advertise Here Banners (125×125)

Last time, I created ten 125×125 Place Your Ad Here banners for everyone to download and use with their websites. I created those banners after noticing that a lot of blogs that run Project Wonderful ads use the default Project Wonderful Place Your Ad Here banners which I thought were too boring and plain. Well, I’m not saying that the ones I created before were out-of-this-world but at least they’re different and don’t look too generic (I hope).

Today, I created 12 more of these 125×125 banners because a lot of you really liked them but, this time, instead of using the text “Place Your Ad Here” or “Your Ad Here” I used “Advertise Here”. So, what’s the difference? Nothing I guess since all of them means the same thing but, you know, a little variation might help you in your campaign to gain some advertisers to your websites or blogs. Place Your Ad Here (125×125)

I was doing my daily rounds of Entrecard dropping today when I noticed that some websites have empty Project Wonderful ads spots that use the default Project Wonderful “Your Ad Here” banner. Most of those I saw were 125×125 banners which are very popular with blogs. Well, some of my blogs are serving ads from Project Wonderful too and when I joined PW I made my own 125×125 “Your Ad Here” banner because the default one is too plain. (more…)
