So, Wordpress released another update and, as always, I immediately upgraded all my wordpress blogs to it. One main reason why you should upgrade is that it keeps your wordpress blog updated with all the latest security fixes. Additional features and enhancements, at least for me, are second only to security.

Upgrading from Wordpress 2.5.1 to 2.6 is very easy. In fact, it is so easy that I don’t do back-ups anymore when upgrading. I know, I should back-up my database before upgrading. Today, the worst thing happened. I upgraded this blog to Wordpress 2.6 and what it did was, it corrupted my database and since I have no back-up I was stuck with it. (more…)
