Last time we had 125×125 banners for your Project Wonderful accounts. This time we have Generic Cards for Entrecard Members. Entrecard is steadily growing and I noticed that the number of members using the default cards or system cards are also growing in numbers. So, to help them out I’m going to make different sets of Generic Cards for Entrecard Members. These cards are going to be like template cards. All they’ll have to do is add their own text on them which they can easily do with any image/graphics editing program like Paint.

To add your text, you can use an Image/Graphic Editor like Paint or a free online image editor like Splashup. Just save your desired Generic Card by right-clicking on the one you like and then click on “Save Image As…” or “Save Picture As…“.
Don’t forget to Bookmark this page because more Generic Cards will be added here.
How To Add Text With Splashup
Go to Splashup‘s website and sign up. It’s FREE!- You’ll be logged in automatically after signing up.
- You can either Take a Tour or just Jump Right In. Jumping right in will open the image editing window.
- Start by clicking on File > Open Image
- You can either open any of the generic cards from your computer if you saved them or you can open them online using the image URL.
- Select the image or paste the image URL and then click Open.
- To add your own text on the image just click on the Text Icon and then on the image. It will create a text area where you can type in your own text. Text Editing options will also be displayed just below the Menu Bar. You can use it to select a desired Font, change the font size, etc. You can also select a color from the Color Picker. Just click on the Move Icon when done.
- With the Move Icon active, you can position your text by dragging it around.
- To save your edited card just click on File > Save Image. You can save your edited card in your computer or upload it to Facebook, Flickr or Picasa. Save your edited card to your computer so you can upload it to Entrecard.
I like Splashup because the interface is very Photoshop like and you can do a lot of things with it but it can be buggy at time too but that’s understandable since it’s still in Beta.
Here are some Entrecard members who are using the cards:
